How Distance Reiki Works (And Why You Can Feel It Anywhere In The World!)
I just love doing Distance Reiki sessions for my clients! It’s a wonderful feeling to connect with other souls – sometimes as far as the other side of the world – and facilitate remote healing with the gentle, yet transformative power of Reiki.
Facilitating Distance Reiki is also a significant reminder that we are all intrinsically connected to one another energetically and that our healing intentions and energies can powerfully travel across time and space, no matter the distance!
Here Is How Distance Reiki Works:
1. Everything is energy:
The cells that make up our organs and tissues, the air that we breathe, the vital force energy that animates and nourishes our bodies, even the thoughts we think and the feelings we feel all have energetic substance to them.
2. Energy is neither limited by space nor time:
We are all connected via what metaphysical researcher and author Gregg Braden refers to as the ‘Divine Matrix’. The Divine Matrix is described as a conscious web of energy that connects everything in the Universe and it responds to human intention. Physicists refer to this living matrix of energy as the Quantum Field. Star Wars enthusiasts know it as ‘The Force!’
What a Healer calls ‘Distance Healing’ may be similarly referred to as ‘Quantum Entanglement’ by a physicist. Here is the concept described in the language of physics:
“Quantum Entanglement is a phenomenon in which the quantum states of two or more objects become correlated, meaning that the state of one object can affect the state of the other(s) even if the objects are separated by large distances. This occurs because, according to quantum theory, particles can exist in multiple states at the same time (a concept known as superposition) and can be inextricably linked, or ‘entangled,’ even if they are physically separated.”
3. Intention is the driving force of energy:
Human intention is far more powerful than we realise! Having the intention to send Reiki energy over a distance (by the sender) and the intention to receive (by the recipient) connects the energy channels between the two bodies – think of this intention like a ‘bridge’ of energy – that allows the healing energy to travel across a distance. Of course, the Distance Reiki symbol is used in all Distance Reiki sessions too and that carries a special conductive energy of its own.
Distance Reiki is not only possible; it can also be powerful!
Just as an in-person Reiki session, when Reiki is sent over a distance the healing energy can be felt. Receivers of Distance Reiki can report feeling deeply relaxed, feeling warmth, temperature fluctuations, or tingling sensations, reduction of pain and even seeing colours or symbolic images, as well as accessing meditative states and receiving spiritual insights just as they might during an in-person Reiki session. As always, the Distance Reiki will adapt to the needs of the recipient and always works for the Highest Good of All. As always, the body’s intelligence uses the Reiki received via a distance for whatever best serves the body and mind recipient at any given time.
