Soul-level blocks tend to be at the root of those persistent, niggly issues that keep showing up in our lives; I often call them the ‘blind spots!’ We find ourselves persistently frustrated, or stuck in cycles of attracting the same unwanted circumstances, but we don’t have the consciousness nor the clarity around how these circumstances were created, so getting unstuck and moving forward feels almost impossible!
Often these blocks are rooted in choices made in other incarnations that took us out of alignment with the truth of our Divine Nature. Sometimes they are connected to our ancestral lineage and associated cultural conditioning and sometimes they were formed in response to our very early experiences in childhood. Without conscious awareness of these blocks at the level of mind they can be particularly tricky to resolve!
Soul-level blocks affect the quality of the experiences we attract in life, based on their underlying energy. For example, perhaps we took a vow of poverty in a past life and in present life we are always struggling with money. Perhaps we entered into a bargain with another Soul, where we sacrificed something in order to gain something else and so in present life we tend to attract situations where we have to ‘lose’ or compromise something in order to gain something else that we desire.
Soul-level blocks also tend to limit and distort the vital force energy that we are able to receive and embody, which can detrimentally affect us at the mental, emotional and physical levels of our present life experience. Sometimes a persistent soul-level block can even be at the root of a ‘mystery’ chronic disease.
Some of these soul-level blocks are able to run ‘programs’ in our energy system that can detrimentally influence our thoughts and feelings. They can even at times prevent us from seeing our own truth clearly, or from accessing the power of our Divine Gifts and they can seriously hinder our manifesting ability, leading us to frustration, restriction and ongoing energetic depletion!
Our physical body is surrounded by an egg-shaped aura of energy called the Golden Web. This is an energetic membrane that houses our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies and it is this membrane that keeps each of us individuated as a separate Being from everybody else.
The Golden Web is recreated at the beginning of each incarnation, but we do not receive an automatic ‘blank’ energetic slate. The energy of our past choices (sometimes referred to as ‘karma’) is carried in our energy system and each time we reincarnate those very same energy patterns are recreated in our Golden Web. If these misaligned energy patterns are not resolved before the end of a physical incarnation, they will perpetuate into future lifetimes via this web of energy.
Soul-level blocks are released through intention and making new choices that break the old energy patterns in order to create new patterns of energy. Sometimes this clearing happens naturally as we move through life by making soul-aligned choices that are guided by our higher wisdom. In this case there is no need to delve into consciously looking at what lies at the root of those old patterns, because they shift naturally as we move into more soul-aligned ways of being.
If karmic patterns do not get resolved it’s often because we perpetuate negative, limiting or disempowering choices until the end of an incarnation and because karma always has to be resolved at the dimensional level in which it was created, we meet those same energies again in subsequent lifetimes.
